I just checked in for my flight at Delta.com. I have been a loyal customer of Delta Airlines for years, and they have always treated me very well. In the past 12 months, my travel for work has been significantly reduced and I now work from home. Although I miss the perks of being a “Platinum Elite” member of the Delta Skymiles program (a great rewards program, btw), I am actually not too sad to have lost my status. This is my last year as a Silver member, but somehow Delta managed to pass along a First-Class upgrade for the Atlanta to San Francisco leg of my flight today. Thanks Delta!
